I assigned a guest a task, but they didn’t have access to it until I shared it

Hi, Aaron! Assigning a task should auto-share by default. A few questions to be sure I understand and to help debug:

  • Was the user already a guest in the workspace prior to assigning them to the task?
  • Or, did you invite them to the workspace directly from the Assignee field? (If you enter a external user’s email into the Assignee field, they’ll receive an invite to join the workspace, and upon joining, they’ll have immediate access to the task.)
