[Bug] Tasks are being dropped

I (and another team member) observed that tasks are being dropped after creation. I created 4 tasks through the Kanban view for a list in the morning. A couple of minutes later, they’d disappeared from the list.

Is this plausible?

Hey, Shuby! We’ve had recent reports of a similar issue on the mac app that we’re currently investigating. Are you seeing this bug on the mac app or web app?

I’m using Brave browser on Mac for Height. I have the same problem that tasks after creation disappear. I tried if the change of status first would help, but no.

The last bug report on this thing is from April '22. Has the development of Height stopped?

Edit: I downloaded the Height app for Mac which does not have this hickup. But I’m still interested why this happens in a browser.

Can you share a bit more details?

  • Have you tried reloading and clearing cache?
  • Does this consistently happen when creating tasks across different lists? If so, can you share the name of some of the lists it’s happening in?
  • Does it seem to only happen on certain visualizations? (e.g. Kanban v. Spreadsheet, etc.)
  • Are you able to test on a different browser and see if the same issue persists?

Hi Akila,
Just saw your reply. Must have missed an email… sorry! If it’s OK with you, I skip the suggested testing though. The app is working fine and I’m too busy to spend time on thorough testing something that is not really relevant (for me) anymore.
