I have a lot of items with a lot of sub-tasks. I can collapse them in the spreadsheet view but not in the Kanban view.
I would like to have an option to collapse the items in the Kanban view.

Good news — you can now collapse subtasks in Kanban boards 
Just like with spreadsheets, individual tasks can be collapsed, or you can expand/collapse all subtasks from the View menu.
