Currently, to create a subtask using only the keyboard, use either option + enter
or enter + enter
, then hit tab
. However, if your view is sorted, the first step (before hitting tab
) positions the new task somewhere else in the view (based on sorting) and yanks you out of context. You must then click and drag the task back to the parent task.
Request: We can avoid this issue with a keyboard shortcut that instantly inserts a new blank task as a subtask for the selected task. No need to hit tab
.
