I regularly have a large number tickets with new unread responses, so my email inbox is around 80% height notification emails, and I have already trimmed down the list of selected notifications to just messages, task name, description, and assigned to me. It would be really helpful in addition to the existing per-response/ticket email notifications we could also switch to a digest option (multiple ticket responses in a single email), sent at a specific time each day (e.g. 8:00am) or every X minutes (e.g. send a digest every hour). This would make email notifications significantly more useful than they are now, and significantly increase the signal/noise ratio for your emails.

This would be an amazing feature and make task management so much better. BaseCamp does an incredible job of sending notifications at both the task/to-do level and a daily digest.
