The current way Forms work doesn’t help us. I would like to be able to create forms for our support team so they can report bugs or feedback. Here’s what would be the minimum requirement
- being able to select which fields they can see or not
- adding a predefined text in the Description field (we would use that to remind them to add the information we need like url, user ID…).
Hi, there! Sorry to hear that our current form design isn’t as helpful for your team. Regarding your reqs, are you able to elaborate with an example for the first one? Which fields would you prefer to be hidden?
Just noticed that this actually already works
- adding a predefined text in the Description field (we would use that to remind them to add the information we need like url, user ID…).
For this
- being able to select which fields they can see or not
For example, we have a custom attribute called “feature”. When someone access the form I created, only the name, list, description, assignees and parent task are visible. I would love to be able to define that people can see Name, list, description, and Feature, but not Assignee and not parent task.
To sum up, I want to make sure people using the form are only completing what I need, and are not forgetting to complete what things I need.
Gotcha! We have a form project coming up to fix these issues so stay tuned! Thanks for the feedback
