How do relative dates in automations work?

I’d like to make an automation that sets a task’s Start Date to one month from when the automation triggers. The help text in the automation makes that sound possible, but the date that I choose in the “Change Start date” field is still an absolute date. I expected to be able to enter a relative date and have it stay relative (such as “1 month from now”). How do relative dates work with triggered automations?

Ah, I’m sorry - I see that the date dropdown allows for both relative and absolute choices. In case anyone else gets here:
